I am a native of Beaverton, Oregon.  I loved to draw and paint since I was a child in elementary school. I am basically self-taught, with the privilege of attending a few painting seminars in acrylic paints and pastels.  

 

I started with oils and have returned to oils most of my life as a student of art. I painted on China and China dolls for 20 years.  

 

My inspiration comes from nature.  I have always been an avid gardener. Still life and landscapes are my current works. I plan to paint people's pets and portraits in the future.
